About the job:

Client: One of the largest WealthTech players

We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative Project Manager to join our M&A team, with a focus on post-acquisition integration and transition. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely integration of acquired businesses into our organization - across people, processes, technology, and culture.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to bring structure and momentum to complex, cross-functional efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Integration Management: Own and drive the integration plan for acquired businesses - covering functions like operations, client servicing, technology, legal, finance, HR, and product.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with internal teams and acquired entity stakeholders to define workstreams, assign ownership, and track deliverables.

- Structured Program Execution: Establish and maintain structured project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, timelines, and accountability.

- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Define and track integration metrics and KPIs. Provide regular updates to the M&A team and senior leadership on progress, risks, and mitigations.

- Risk Identification & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential roadblocks in integration and facilitate timely resolution with the relevant teams.

- Cultural & Operational Alignment: Help ensure a smooth cultural transition and alignment between teams by facilitating onboarding, orientation sessions, and knowledge transfer.

- Change Management Support: Act as a change agent to help teams adapt to new structures, tools, and workflows post-acquisition.

- Documentation & Institutionalization: Maintain structured documentation of integration checklists, status trackers, learnings, and post-mortems for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

- 5 - 8 years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO roles - preferably in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

- Exposure to post-merger integration, business transformation, or consulting will be an advantage.

- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; ability to align diverse teams around a common goal.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel projects and workstreams with attention to detail and structured execution.

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Excel) and reporting dashboards.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.

- Experience working in matrix organizations and managing across hierarchies.

Preferred Traits:

- Calm under pressure, outcome-oriented, and able to navigate ambiguity.

- Highly organized, proactive, strong ability to learn quickly, and disciplined in execution.

- Strong business acumen and sensitivity to both strategic and operational nuances.

- Highly collaborative with the ability to influence stakeholders without authority towards common goals.

- Experience in wealth management industry.
