Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

Description:

- We are seeking an expert-level Project Manager IT Infrastructure to lead complex, high-impact projects in Sofia, Bulgaria.

- This role demands 7+ years of experience managing critical IT initiatives, including cloud migration, data center upgrades, and disaster recovery (DR) implementations.

- The ideal candidate must be adept at defining all aspects of project delivery and ensuring strict adherence to established Project Management Methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), backed by relevant professional certifications.

Key Responsibilities & Project Deliverables:

1.Infrastructure Project Leadership:

- Critical Project Management: Directly manage and lead complex IT infrastructure projects, with primary focus areas including large-scale cloud migration, data center modernization/upgrades, and comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) solutions.

Getty Images:

- Full Lifecycle Oversight: Own and drive the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget.

- Risk Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks related to infrastructure dependencies, vendors, and technical execution.

Planning, Scope & Governance:

- Define Project Pillars: Precisely define project scope, detailed timelines, and allocated budgets.

- Secure all necessary resources and manage dependencies effectively.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies, maintaining transparent communication with business sponsors, technical teams, and vendors.

- Methodology Adherence: Ensure all project activities and artifacts strictly align with chosen Project Management methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall), driving discipline and predictability in delivery.

Certification & Standards:

- Professional Standards: Leverage deep expertise and established best practices to govern project execution and maintain high quality across all infrastructure rollouts.

- Certification Requirement: Application of knowledge gained from professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.) is required
