Project Manager - Investments and M&A Location: Hybrid - Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and India Reporting to: Director, Project Management Office (PMO) Job Type: Full-time Summary: Our client, one of the largest ministries in Saudi Arabia disburses financial and non-financial incentives to foreign investors. The Ministry seeks a Project Manager who is well-versed with incentives, investment attraction, and investment management & reporting. We seek an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in financial modeling, investment management, and project management office (PMO). The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing diverse stakeholders, gathering project updates from senior stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery as per original timelines. The Project Manager will report directly to the Director of the Project Management Office and play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the company. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage end-to-end project updates and reporting responsibilities between stakeholders (i.e., Ministry and 3rd party disbursement entity), ensuring disbursal objectives and targets are met on time and within budget. 2. Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and communicate project expectations to all stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. 3. Establish and implement project communication plans, ensuring effective and regular communication with all stakeholders, including senior management. 4. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and to address any issues or risks that may affect project completion. 5. Generate timely and comprehensive project reports, including status updates, risks, issues, and potential mitigations. 6. Foster a positive and collaborative environment where every team member feels included, is able to contribute, and is valued for their contributions. 7. Liaise with other departments to integrate project teams and resources and ensure consistent application of project management practices. Required Skills and Experience: 1. Masters Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification would be an asset. 2. Minimum of 4 years' experience in project management, with a focus on financial modelling, investment management, and mergers & acquisitions. 3. Strong stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to solicit updates from senior stakeholders and manage expectations. 4. Proven ability to prepare and present clear and concise reports to a variety of audiences, including senior management. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. 7. Proficiency with project management software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Prior experience in the financial services industry or in a consulting role would be considered an asset. 2. Experience with strategic planning and process improvement is a plus.
