Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can independently manage technology projects end-to-end, with strong hands-on experience in server migration, infrastructure modernization, and upgrade initiatives. The role will be responsible for planning and executing complex projects while ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, contractual commitments, and governance standards.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or server migration programs, strong understanding of Statements of Work (SOWs), resource and budget management, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage projects end-to-end from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control through closure.

- Lead server migration, modernization, version upgrade, and infrastructure transformation projects, including migration from legacy to upgraded environments.

- Develop project plans, roadmaps, milestones, schedules, resource plans, and delivery strategies.

- Define project scope, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, timelines, and success criteria.

- Manage SOW-related commitments, ensuring project execution remains aligned with contractual scope, deliverables, and governance requirements.

- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

- Coordinate infrastructure, engineering, application, security, cloud, operations, and vendor teams to drive successful execution.

- Manage resource planning, allocation, capacity, and utilization across project workstreams.

- Own project budgets, financial tracking, forecasting, and variance management.

- Establish and maintain project governance, status reporting, RAID logs, dashboards, and review mechanisms.

- Lead stakeholder and governance meetings and provide regular updates on project health, risks, milestones, financials, and key decisions.

- Drive execution from project setup through implementation, migration, testing, cutover, stabilization, and closure.

- Ensure appropriate change management, release planning, testing, deployment, and production-readiness activities are completed.

- Manage vendor and third-party dependencies and ensure delivery commitments are met.

- Support Agile or hybrid delivery models as appropriate to project requirements.

- Establish project processes and delivery frameworks for initiatives being set up from scratch.

- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, governance, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7 - 10 years of experience in IT project management, program delivery, or infrastructure project management.

- Proven experience managing end-to-end technology projects independently.

- Strong hands-on experience in server migration, infrastructure modernization, and upgrade projects.

- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or server migration programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of SOWs, project governance, contractual deliverables, and scope management.

- Experience with resource planning, budget management, financial tracking, forecasting, and cost control.

- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, dependency management, risk and issue management, and change control.

- Experience coordinating infrastructure, application, engineering, operations, security, vendors, and business stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

- Experience setting up and delivering projects from the ground up, including governance structures, roadmaps, execution plans, and reporting mechanisms.

- Strong experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or equivalent.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful closure.

- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be an advantage.
