Project Manager - Greenfield Factory Setup - Be responsible for the overall management, leadership, direction, and proper implementation of a green field factory project. This role also includes the management and functioning of the project implementation unit, its staff, and resources. - Work and communicate with local and national authorities for factory approval and licences. - Prepare detailed factory layout, cost estimates, manage the budget, and cost control, perform capital program management, and financial and project schedule reporting. - Lead projects from requirements definition through RFQ preparation, quote evaluations, Techno- commercial negotiation of contracts, contract negotiations, contract administration including risk mitigation, and claims management. - Steering the creation of conceptual & schematic architectural designs and supervising on-site fit out activities to ensure completion of project within the stipulated time & cost and effective resource utilization to maximize the output. - Manage problem solving processes with respect to design, construction, and coordination issues associated with Utility (Boiler, chiller, ETP HTP) plant, electrical and mechanical systems, civil structures (concrete and earthen), - Be responsible for review and approval of all plans, schedules, variation orders, review and approval of all payments to contractors/ suppliers, and operating expenses. - Act as an intermediary between upper management and the project team, provide regular reports to stakeholders to ensure the project's success - Closely work with commercial team and establish a robust purchase and commercial systems for procurements and material delivery. Responsible for project site supervision: 1. Managing day-to-day operations of the project 2. Oversee site provisions for employee occupational safety and health programs. 3. Coordinating with contractors / Vendors / Architect / Consultants & providing them the feedback/suggestion as company standards & requirement 4. Act as POC for design and specifications with the relevant stakeholders in order to drive solutions necessary for running operations optimally. 5. Accountable for creation of project documentation. 6. Manage the Project Team and General Contractor on site
