Role Overview:

The Global External Workforce Project Manager will serve as a key program leader for one of our marquee global clients, supporting the governance, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives across the client's global external workforce program. In this role, you will work at the intersection of external workforce operations, procurement, digital teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership, ensuring multiple priorities and workstreams remain aligned, structured, and moving forward. You will provide the program discipline required to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, establish accountability, track milestones and dependencies, and proactively address risks and blockers.

The role requires a strong understanding of external - contingent workforce programs and the broader MSP, supplier, procurement, and stakeholder ecosystem, combined with proven project - program management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the end-to-end management of contingent workforce programs to ensure service level agreements are met and operational risks are mitigated for global clients.

- Lead contract negotiations and renewals with staffing vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms that align with organizational procurement policies.

- Facilitate regular business reviews with key stakeholders to provide data-backed insights on workforce trends, spend analysis, and vendor performance metrics.

- Implement standardized project management frameworks to streamline the onboarding and offboarding processes for external workers across multiple international jurisdictions.

- Resolve complex escalations involving vendor disputes or compliance gaps to maintain uninterrupted business operations and protect the company's reputation.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks in the procurement and talent acquisition lifecycle and deploying scalable solutions.

Required Skillset:

- Possess 8 - 12 years of professional experience in managing large-scale contingent workforce programs or complex procurement operations within a global environment.

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in vendor management, with a proven ability to cultivate partnerships and hold external agencies accountable to rigorous performance standards.

- Exhibit strong stakeholder management capabilities, including the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate cross-functional dynamics in a matrixed organization.

- Showcase deep expertise in contract management, specifically regarding labor laws, compliance, and the legal frameworks governing external talent engagement.

- Utilize data-driven project management methodologies to track deliverables, manage budgets, and report on key performance indicators to executive stakeholders.

- Hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, with excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for coordinating with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.

- Must have significant daily overlap with U.S. business hours
