Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in General Insurance, particularly within the Motor Insurance domain, to lead and deliver strategic business and technology initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end project lifecycles, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and driving successful project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects within the General Insurance domain.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, leadership teams, vendors, and cross-functional teams to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Drive project governance, risk management, issue resolution, and change management activities.
- Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate resources across multiple functions and ensure seamless collaboration among teams.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks and proactively implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to organizational project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence within the insurance business.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management, with significant exposure to the General Insurance industry.
- Strong domain expertise in Motor Insurance and related insurance operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams.
- Strong project planning, execution, tracking, and governance skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong listening, articulation, negotiation, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Experience working in multicultural and geographically distributed environments is preferred.
