Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Implementation to lead end-to-end ERP and POS implementation programs for enterprise retail clients. This role will drive successful delivery of large-scale retail technology deployments, ensuring seamless adoption, operational excellence, and measurable business outcomes.

You will act as the primary bridge between clients, product teams, and internal delivery functions, owning project execution from discovery through go-live and post-implementation stabilization.

This is a high-visibility role requiring strong program leadership, stakeholder management, and functional understanding of ERP ecosystems within retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership

- Lead end-to-end ERP/POS implementation programs from project kickoff to go-live and hypercare.

- Define project plans, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.

- Ensure successful deployment aligned with client business objectives and operational requirements.

- Drive execution excellence while managing risks, dependencies, and delivery governance.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients throughout implementation lifecycle.

- Conduct requirement workshops, solution discussions, and executive status reviews.

- Manage stakeholder expectations across business, functional, and technical teams.

- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of delivery challenges.

Functional Consulting & Solution Alignment

- Understand client business processes and translate requirements into ERP/POS solutions.

- Provide functional guidance across core ERP modules: Finance & Accounting, Sales & Distribution, Procurement

Inventory & Warehouse Management

- Support gap analysis, solution validation, and UAT coordination.

- PMO & Governance

- Drive project governance including planning, tracking, reporting, and risk management.

- Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

- Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource utilization.

- Provide leadership updates and delivery performance reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Coordinate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Support teams.

- Ensure smooth deployment, testing, and transition to production environments.

- Enable post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements

- 6+ years of overall experience with 4+ years in ERP/POS implementation or delivery roles.

- Proven experience managing end-to-end ERP implementations (Kickoff - Go-Live - Hypercare).

- Strong exposure to Retail, SaaS, or Product-based implementation environments.

- Functional expertise across ERP modules including Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Inventory.

- Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, taxation, inventory accounting).

- Experience managing client-facing implementations and enterprise stakeholders.

- Hands-on PMO experience including planning, estimation, governance reporting, and risk management.

- Commerce background (B.Com / M.Com or Finance-related education mandatory).

- Based in Mumbai (or nearby) and open to working on-site (Andheri).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Retail ERP, omnichannel commerce, or POS platforms.

- Exposure to large-scale retail transformation programs.

- Strong analytical thinking and structured communication skills.

- Ability to engage with senior leadership and CXO stakeholders.
