Project Manager - Data & Analytics Team - General Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end Data & Analytics projects from requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.

- Manage project planning, timelines, milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, and governance.

- Coordinate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and partners.

- Drive project delivery using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

- Manage project status reporting, stakeholder communication, and escalation management.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data and analytics solutions.

- Work closely with data engineering, BI, analytics, and technology teams.

- Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.

- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical deliverables.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 10-15 years of overall experience.

- Immediate joiner.

- Proven experience delivering Data & Analytics projects in General Insurance.

- Strong hands-on understanding of:

1. Data Warehousing

2. Data Lake / Lakehouse

3. ETL

4. Business Intelligence

5. Analytics

- Strong understanding of General Insurance processes, including:

1. Policy Administration

2. Underwriting

3. Claims

4. Reinsurance

5. Finance

6. Regulatory Reporting

- Strong project management, governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.

- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

- On-premise and cloud-based data platforms

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Strong General Insurance domain knowledge is mandatory.

- Proven track record of managing complex Data & Analytics programs.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

- Experience working in fast-paced transformation environments.
