Customer Success / Deployment Manager

Designation: Project Manager (Customer Success / Deployment Manager)
Role Overview:
- Smarten is seeking a Customer Success / Deployment Manager to support and grow our U.S. consumer user base. In this hybrid technical and customer-facing role, you will work closely with end-users to deploy, configure, and support our AI-driven B2C SaaS platform. You will ensure smooth onboarding, seamless setup, and continuous feature adoption.
- This role is ideal for recent graduates (Class of 2022 or later) who have strong communication skills along with a foundational understanding of cloud applications, APIs, consumer app behavior, and AI-enabled platforms.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities - B2C Focused:
- Own end-to-end user onboarding and setup, guiding consumers through product installation, configuration, account activation, and first-time use.
- Deliver personalized support, resolving B2C user queries, platform issues, and setup challenges for a smooth product experience.
- Analyze user behavior and usage trends to identify drop-off points, recommend product improvements, and suggest personalized optimization tips.
- Conduct virtual onboarding, training videos, walkthroughs, and help-center guidance to educate new users.
- Build long-term relationships with power users and community champions, ensuring high engagement, adoption, and retention.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and CX teams to relay user feedback, improve features, and enhance the consumer journey.
- Participate in community forums, webinars, and user groups to increase awareness and drive product adoption.

Professional Experience / Qualifications - B2C Aligned:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent (Preferred: Class of 2022 or later).
- 1-2 years experience (including internships) in SaaS support, B2C onboarding, app deployment, or customer success roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud applications, APIs, app integrations, and consumer-facing workflows (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, mobile apps).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills geared toward high-volume consumer users.
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to simplify complex topics for everyday users.
- Self-driven, comfortable supporting users across different time zones, and experienced working remotely.
