ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of credit card initiatives. In this high-impact role, you will spearhead the implementation of commercial card solutions and new payment network integrations, collaborating closely with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, and external FinTech/network partners. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions and own the full project lifecycle - from ideation to go-live.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project & Program Management

- Lead end-to-end delivery of credit card projects across platforms such as TSYS PRIME and VisionPLUS

- Build detailed project plans, track milestones, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery

- Govern dependencies across Technology, Operations, Networks, and external partners

- Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and escalations

Business & Solution Design

- Evaluate business cases and define optimal solution approaches aligned to strategic objectives

- Translate business needs into application, operational, risk, and regulatory frameworks

- Assess fit-gap within the existing ecosystem or recommend external integrations as needed

- Recommend product features and innovations to maintain competitive positioning

Requirements & Documentation

- Prepare comprehensive BRDs covering business, regulatory, operational, and risk dimensions

- Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, UI/UX)

Stakeholder Management

- Liaise with internal teams (Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance) and external partners (Networks, FinTechs, Vendors)

- Serve as the single point of contact for project communication and governance

- Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure timely and quality decision-making

Implementation, Testing & Go-Live

- Oversee implementation of new products, enhancements, and regulatory changes

- Ensure successful certification with payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) where applicable

- Facilitate end-to-end SIT/UAT with relevant testing teams and validate against business requirements

- Own production readiness checks and ensure a smooth, risk-free go-live

Production Support & Issue Management

- Own resolution of production issues impacting customers or business operations

- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions

- Conduct impact analysis and facilitate appropriate customer remediation

Innovation & Cost Efficiency

- Stay current with emerging payment technologies - Tokenization, QR Payments, Digital Channels, etc.

- Collaborate with FinTech and network partners to bring innovative use cases to market

- Propose optimized solutions that minimize ecosystem changes, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 3-14 years of techno-functional experience in the Cards & Payments industry

- Strong hands-on experience with core card platforms - TSYS PRIME and/or VisionPLUS

- Proven track record in managing end-to-end project lifecycles in a banking/FinTech environment

- Exposure to payment network certifications (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, etc.)

- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the credit cards space

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills

- Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage critical escalations and production incidents

- Familiarity with digital payments, tokenization, and emerging payment technologies

GOOD TO HAVE

- Experience with commercial card programs or fleet/travel card solutions

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies

- Knowledge of Open Banking, UPI stack, or NPCI ecosystem

- Prior experience working with international payment networks or cross-border payment flows
