Project Manager - CFO's Office

About the Role:
- A leading Indian nonprofit and philanthropic foundation is hiring a Project Manager to support its CFO's Office.
- This role is key to managing strategic financial projects, ensuring smooth operations, and driving cross-functional initiatives across the organization.
- Work closely with senior leadership and teams across finance, operations, legal, and programs to ensure key priorities are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Governance:
- Set up and manage dashboards, workplans, and trackers for the CFO's key projects.
- Coordinate strategic meetings (e.g., financial reviews, board meetings) and follow through on action items.
- Help run regular reviews with program and operations teams.
2. New Business Models & Entity Setup:
- Support the CFO in launching new business models and legal entities.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams on strategy and implementation.
- Track project risks, dependencies, and timelines.
3. Strategic Initiatives:
- Manage high-priority projects from start to finish with minimal oversight.
- Track progress against the CFO's strategic goals and raise any delays or issues.
- Support internal changes like new team structures and hiring.
4. Community & Shared Services:
- Lead the CFO's internal community across India and the US, organizing meetings and knowledge-sharing.
- Help design and launch shared services across teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: MBA in Finance, Strategy, or Project Management (PMP a plus).
- Experience: 6-10 years in finance, strategy, or project management roles.
- Strong skills in project planning, coordination, and risk management.
- Confident communicator who can work with senior leaders.
- Comfortable with data and financial reporting tools..
