About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager - Capital Markets to manage and deliver projects within the Capital Markets - Financial Services domain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Capital Markets and Trade Operations, along with proven experience managing projects through the complete Project Management Life Cycle. The candidate must hold a PMP or PRINCE2 certification and be comfortable working with business, operations, technology and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage projects through the end-to-end Project Management Life Cycle, from initiation and planning through execution, implementation and closure.

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones and resource requirements.

- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, dependencies and project documentation.

- Coordinate with business, technology, operations and third-party teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Work closely with Capital Markets and Trade Operations teams to understand business requirements, processes and operational dependencies.

- Track project progress against agreed scope, timelines, quality and budget.

- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.

- Conduct project governance meetings and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder communication and ensure timely escalation and resolution of project issues.

- Coordinate requirements, testing/UAT, implementation, go-live and post-production activities.

- Drive cross-functional teams towards agreed project milestones and deliverables.

- Ensure adherence to project governance, processes and delivery standards.

Capital Markets and Trade Operations Knowledge:

The candidate should have a good working understanding of Capital Markets and Trade Operations, including areas such as:

- Trade capture and validation

- Trade confirmation and matching

- Trade settlement

- Clearing and reconciliation

- Post-trade processing

- Exceptions and breaks management

- Trade lifecycle and operational controls

- Corporate actions

Exposure to products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX and/or Derivatives will be an advantage.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 4 - 8 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Securities or Financial Services.

- Proven experience managing projects across the complete Project Management Life Cycle.

- Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Trade Operations.

- Experience working with business, operations and technology stakeholders.

- Strong project planning, execution, risk and issue management skills.

- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience managing cross-functional teams and project dependencies.

- Understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

- Strong documentation, reporting and presentation skills.

Mandatory Certification:

- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is mandatory.
