Job Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and successfully delivering small to medium-sized business and technology projects that support strategic business objectives.

This role applies project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations while effectively managing stakeholder engagement and project risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

- Partner with business stakeholders and sponsors to identify, define, and initiate projects.

- Develop project charters, business cases, project schedules, work breakdown structures, and deployment plans.

- Establish project governance, communication, and reporting frameworks.

- Manage project lifecycle activities from initiation through closure.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with sponsors, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to secure project approvals and support.

- Facilitate project meetings and decision-making forums.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource and Team Management:

- Define project team roles and responsibilities.

- Coordinate with resource managers to secure appropriate project resources.

- Provide performance feedback to project team members and resource managers as needed.

- Foster collaboration and accountability across project teams.

Risk, Issue and Change Management:

- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions.

- Maintain issue and risk logs and facilitate timely resolution.

- Lead scope change management processes and obtain required approvals.

Financial and Performance Management:

- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization.

- Track project performance against established metrics and milestones.

- Manage project benefits realization and ROI throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality and Governance:

- Develop testing and implementation strategies.

- Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards and methodologies.

- Conduct quality reviews, stage gate assessments, and project closeout activities.

- Secure and archive all required approvals and project documentation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 15 plus years of total experience with at least 10 years in project management.

- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

- PMP, CAPM, Agile, or equivalent certification highly desirable.
