Role Overview:

- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead, plan, and execute strategic initiatives within the banking domain.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles-ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and technology standards.

- This role requires strong stakeholder management, risk assessment capabilities, and the ability to deliver complex banking projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of banking and financial services projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in alignment with business priorities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and communication frameworks.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

- Manage budgets, financial tracking, and project cost optimization.

- Ensure adherence to banking regulatory standards, security norms, and audit requirements.

- Drive stakeholder communication through regular status reporting, governance meetings, and dashboards.

- Facilitate change management, testing coordination, and smooth transition to BAU operations.

- Ensure continuous improvement by implementing best practices, tools, and process enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7-12 years of experience in project management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

- Strong understanding of retail banking, corporate banking, payments, lending, or digital banking processes.

- Experience in managing large-scale technology or transformation projects.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies - Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid.

- Strong skills in project planning tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, etc.

- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.

- PMP, Prince2, CSM, or similar certifications are an added advantage.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
