About the Role:

Our client is for a Senior Project Manager who will lead the implementation of AI-driven digital transformation projects at our customers manufacturing plants. The ideal person will act as a bridge between shop-floor operations, AI technology, and business goals to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and manage end-to-end AI projects for digital transformation in manufacturing.

- Develop project plans, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution.

- Assess plants AI readiness (sensors, PLCs, connectivity, data availability).

- Conduct workshops and meetings with plant managers and engineers.

- Manage coordination between customers, vendors, and internal teams.

- Support change management and adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions.

- Build strong customer relationships and manage expectations.

- Stay updated on new manufacturing innovation trends (IIoT, MES, predictive systems).

Required Background:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

- Proven project management experience from planning to delivery.

- Hands-on exposure to Industry 4.0, IIoT, automation, or smart factory projects.

- Strong communication and presentation skills in English (and ideally German).

- Analytical thinker with the ability to handle ambiguity and align diverse teams.

- Self-driven, customer-oriented, and willing to travel to client sites.

Preferred:

Prior experience in metal processing or manufacturing environments.
