Agriculture Extension Project Manager - TNS is working to support the livelihoods of small holder women farmers alluding to the connection between nature and women farmers and connects women farmers with leadership and business skills. - The initiative has supported enterprising women to transform their roles in their households and farming businesses, and to strengthen the agribusiness for their local communities by taking on leadership roles in local farmer producer organizations. - The program supports women farmers addressing four key areas for growth: Strong farmer producer organizations, Improved market access for women farmers, Inclusive access to financial services for farmer producer organizations and women shareholders and Empowered women leaders. - The ideal candidate will have extensive project and team management experience gained through at least 10- 14 years of work with leading development and corporate sector organizations in areas of business planning, stakeholder management. - The incumbent will get exposure to a wide spectrum of program verticals across different functional and operational aspects and above all, an opportunity to really make a difference. Description : The person will be responsible for anchoring the below for the program : - Anchor key interactions with the FPC board, management and Community Leaders to increase business, business planning, community mobilization etc - Support the program in anchoring important discussions with market players; Input dealers, Commodity buyers, Financial Institutions, Government officials etc - Lead sub-projects, program components for the program, and lead a team of 30 members - Provide technical & program management support to senior management in field monitoring visits, supervision of training activities and curriculum design, community mobilization efforts, convergence with government schemes, execution of sub-projects etc, - Consolidating and reporting key program data, field level intelligence, oversight to admin activities Requirements : - MBA in Rural management / Agribusiness Management from XIMB, NIAM, MANAGE, GB Pant, OUAT or any reputed institutions - 10-14 years of experience with development sector or corporate organizations - Exposure to working with / supporting farmer producer companies is preferred - Flare for travel as the job profile requires 80% travel time - Experience of managing team / projects - Sound knowledge M/S Word/ Excel/ PPT - Demonstrated ability to independently create and maintain relationships with external stakeholders - Applicants should be open to relocate to any project location
