
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Manager cum Scrum Master to lead our Creative Technology team.
This hybrid role combines strong project management capabilities with deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
The ideal candidate will function as a servant leader, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of innovative and high-impact creative technology projects by effectively managing teams, stakeholders, timelines, budgets, and scope.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership
- Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach the team in Agile principles and Scrum practices, adapting them as needed to deliver timely business value.
- Encourage decentralized decision-making to promote ownership, innovation, and accountability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Agile framework.
Project Management
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation through closure.
- Define and align project goals, timelines, and deliverables with client and stakeholder expectations.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and BAs for backlog grooming and prioritization aligned with business value.
- Implement effective project governance and reporting frameworks.
Schedule Management
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones (using tools like Microsoft Project or equivalent).
- Regularly monitor progress against the plan and adjust proactively to stay on track.
- Manage team workloads, dependencies, and priorities to meet deliverables without compromising quality.
Cost Management
- Prepare accurate project budgets and manage financial performance throughout the lifecycle.
- Track and control expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without impacting deliverables or quality.
Scope Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Analysts to define clear project objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure the scope is accurately captured and structured in JIRA (with proper Epics, Stories, Acceptance Criteria).
- Manage scope changes through a formal change control process to mitigate risks.
- Ensure strong alignment between scope, schedule, and resource plans.
Quality Management
- Establish and monitor quality benchmarks for all deliverables.
- Coordinate with QA teams to integrate testing, bug tracking, and resolution processes within the delivery cycle.
- Conduct periodic quality reviews and implement process enhancements as needed.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Gather and clarify requirements, communicate roadmaps, and address issues proactively.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project health, milestones, and risks.
Team Development & Collaboration
- Cultivate a positive and high-performance team culture focused on ownership and collaboration.
- Mentor and coach team members to grow in technical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Recognize contributions and drive team engagement and morale.
Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate and enhance delivery processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement tools and practices to streamline project workflows, including improvements in Jira usage.
- Promote a culture of documentation, knowledge sharing, and learning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in technology or creative environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across design, development, QA, and business functions.
- Proficient in project management tools (e., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana)
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Relevant certifications (such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP) are preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in creative tech, digital product development, or interactive media environments.
- Familiarity with design and development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance practices
