Location: Gurgaon, India

Position and Responsibilities:

FIRSTavenue is seeking to hire mid-level resource for its primary and secondary advisory team. The role is execution-focused, with increasing responsibility for mandate management, client interaction, and working closely with global teams internally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and project-manage private equity and real assets primary fundraising mandates, with selective exposure to private credit, and support global secondary and direct transactions as required

- Execute mandates end-to-end, including underwriting, financial modelling, structuring analysis, marketing preparation, investor outreach, and transaction closing

- Prepare and review high-quality client materials, including teasers, Information Memoranda, valuation analyses, track record presentations, and investor communications

- Manage transaction processes including data room oversight, investor Q&A coordination, diligence tracking, and timeline management to ensure disciplined execution

- Support transaction structuring and pricing discussions through return scenario analysis, liquidity modelling, and market benchmarking

- Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned GP clients, coordinating closely with internal global teams, investors, and legal advisors to ensure seamless execution

- Contribute to mandate origination and market development by supporting client pitches, opportunity screening, and leveraging personal and business networks

- Quality control and mentor junior team members (as necessary) and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, models, and marketing frameworks

Qualifications and Characteristics:

- 3-7 years of relevant industry experience

- Background in capital advisory or fundraising, secondary advisory, investment banking or private equity

- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, secondary transactions, and performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, DPI, MOIC, NAV)

- Strong financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, and written communication skills

- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple live transactions

- Global mindset with the ability to work effectively across geographies
