Project Management Officer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Governance: Develop and enforce project management standards, frameworks, and best practices to guarantee uniform execution across all projects.

- Portfolio & Project Monitoring: Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely delivery within scope and alignment with strategic objectives.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Promote collaboration among operations, HR, IT, risk, compliance, finance, and business units to facilitate smooth project execution.

- Reporting & Insights: Generate dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries, translating complex project data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

- Resource & Risk Management: Assist managers in resource planning and allocation while proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure seamless project delivery.

- Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure all projects adhere to RBI regulations, internal audit standards, and organizational policies, maintaining comprehensive documentation for governance and regulatory compliance.

- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in project delivery processes, recommend enhancements, and implement best practices to boost overall effectiveness.

- Stakeholder Management: Engage with business leaders, branch managers, and functional teams to communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes, securing stakeholder buy-in and support.

- Experience: 5 to 8 years in project or program management, preferably within NBFCs, banking, or financial services sectors.

- Education: Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.

- Certifications: Project Management certification is an advantage.

Skills:

- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills.

- In-depth knowledge of RBI regulations, audit compliance, and operational processes.
