Profile - Project Management Officer (PMO)
Location - Saket - Delhi
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented PMO to support the efficient execution and management of projects focused on improving health outcomes for underserved communities, particularly mothers and children. The individual will play a key role in the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring that organisation's initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Organize and facilitate program/function review meetings in alignment with the set review calendar.
- Ensure timely documentation of discussions, decisions, and action points by concerned teams.
- Ensure the review reports are in alignment with the larger goals of the meetings set by the PMO.
- Regularly monitor project progress and proactively flag risks or delays.
- Ensure adherence to defined timelines and work with teams to implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards, tracking tools, and status updates for PMO review.
- Coordinate with concerned teams for setting up a central repository.
- Maintain and update program repositories, review documents, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in the central database.
- Ensure periodic program reporting mechanisms are structured to reflect both internal performance metrics and donor reporting requirements.
- Assist in preparing periodic PMO updates, impact reports, board reports, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support PMO with data-driven insights and recommendations based on program performance.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices within the organization.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for better efficiency in program reviews and reporting.
- Work on additional projects as they arise, based on organizational priorities and PMO requirements.
- Travel to program locations as needed for coordinating updates, supporting project implementation, and engaging with field teams.
Qualification & Skills
- Excellent cross team Coordination skills.
- Knowledge of program review mechanisms and review cycles.
- Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and action tracking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Master's degree in management or public health.
