Project Management Consultant (Residential Construction) - MBB Consulting Firm - Contractual

Our client, a leading global consulting firm is supporting a a leading real estate developer based in the Delhi-Gurgaon region, undertaking multiple large-scale residential capital expenditure projects. The engagement is part of a live transformation and delivery excellence initiative, supported by a global top-tier consulting firm, aimed at strengthening project execution, governance, and on-site delivery outcomes.
They are seeking a Project Management Consultant who will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-value residential construction projects. Working closely with the consulting team and the client's senior stakeholders, the consultant will act as a hands-on project manager, driving execution rigor, resolving on-site challenges, and helping establish best-in-class construction and PMO processes with tangible, on-the-ground impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Project Manager for large residential construction projects, overseeing day-to-day execution and PMO activities
- Support the consulting team in driving timely delivery of multiple large capex projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and execution bottlenecks through proactive on-site intervention
- Coordinate across project teams, PMCs, design teams, and contractors to ensure alignment and smooth operations
- Establish and run governance mechanisms, including milestone tracking, performance reviews, and reporting
- Identify opportunities for structural improvements in construction practices, technologies, and ways of working
Your Background:
- 4-8 years of experience managing large capital expenditure projects in the real estate sector
- Strong exposure to residential construction projects is highly preferred
- Proven experience working on-site and managing complex, multi-stakeholder project environments
- Solid understanding of project management, construction processes, and PMO best practices
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering; postgraduate degree from a top-tier institution is a plus
- Background with leading developers or construction firms (e.g., L&T Realty, Tata Projects, Shapoorji, KEC, or similar) preferred

- Duration: 12 months (extendable)
- Engagement model: Full-time, contractual role
