A leading global consulting firm is seeking an experienced marketing and consumer insights professional to join a high-impact engagement within its Marketing, Sales, and Pricing practice. The project is part of a broader initiative to drive data-led brand transformation and strengthen go-to-market effectiveness for clients across the consumer sector.
The consultant will play a critical role in bridging consumer insights with strategic decision-making, translating deep consumer understanding into actionable brand strategies, campaign direction, and product innovation. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with significant influence on how leading brands shape their market positioning and growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the synthesis of consumer insights and translate them into clear, actionable brand and marketing strategies
- Partner with client stakeholders across marketing, category, and leadership teams to drive decision-making
- Support the development and execution of brand initiatives, including new product launches and GTM strategies
- Work closely with creative and media agencies to shape communication strategies and campaign execution
- Drive problem-solving and structured thinking across key marketing and growth challenges
- Contribute to broader consulting workstreams within marketing, sales, and pricing transformation
Your Background:
- 8-12 years of experience in FMCG, consumer durables, or D2C organisations
- Hands-on experience in consumer insights and behavior, with a brand management background
- Proven ability to translate consumer insights into tangible brand strategy and business outcomes
- Experience leading or contributing to marketing campaigns, product launches, and GTM initiatives
- Prior exposure to working with creative, media, or research agencies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in cross-functional environments
- Interest in transitioning to consulting, with comfort in a fast-paced, client-facing setup
Other Info:
- This is a full-time, permanent role at the Project Leader level with the consulting firm, based out of Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore.
- The role involves regular client travel (typically 3 - 4 days per week) and offers the opportunity to work on high-impact engagements across marketing, sales, and pricing transformation initiatives.
