About Our Client:
We are partnering with a premier, globally renowned multinational corporation to identify a strategic HR leader. The organization is aggressively expanding its Global Business Services (GBS) footprint in India and is looking for a heavyweight transformation expert to design and execute their offshore HR delivery strategy.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Global Vice President of HR Shared Services, this is a high-impact global leadership role. You will be the chief architect responsible for migrating complex, multi-geography HR operations into a centralized offshore "Center of Excellence" in India. This role sits at the critical intersection of HR Strategy, Technology Enablement (HCM), and Change Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Transitions & Offshoring: Spearhead the end-to-end migration of international HR processes to the offshore Center of Excellence (CoE). You will develop robust "lift and shift" methodologies, operational toolkits, and governance frameworks to ensure a seamless transition to Business As Usual (BAU).
- HR Technology & Digitalization: Act as the primary business sponsor partnering with the Global IT function. You will lead the business-side deployment of enterprise HR technologies (HCM, Case Management, Payroll, and ATS platforms), ensuring they deliver measurable ROI and operational efficiency.
- Matrix Leadership & Strategy: Collaborate extensively with global HR leadership to define the overall HR Applications portfolio. Act as a strategic consultant to global stakeholders, utilizing market intelligence and data-driven storytelling to shape the future of HR digitalization.
- Service Delivery Excellence: Define, measure, and elevate global service standards. Build high-performance, metrics-driven project teams operating in a complex matrix environment.
- Change & Cultural Advocacy: Drive global change management initiatives. Ensure that all technology rollouts and process redesigns respect regional cultural nuances while maintaining a unified global standard.
The Ideal Candidate Profile (Must-Haves):
- Experience: 15+ years of total experience with a proven track record operating at a leadership level within a mature HR Shared Services, GBS, or HR Captive environment.
- Core Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience leading large-scale offshore transitions (moving transactional HR work from the US/UK/EMEA to an outsourced provider or internal hub).
- Tech Acumen: Extensive functional knowledge of modern HR ecosystems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, advanced ticketing, and time/attendance platforms).
- Leadership Style: A highly resilient, commercial-minded leader capable of managing multi-million-dollar project budgets, presenting compelling business cases, and influencing C-suite stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Consulting Pedigree: Candidates with a background in top-tier consulting (HR Transformation / People Advisory practices) who have transitioned into an industry role will have a distinct advantage.
