Project Head - Underground Mining Operations

HIRING | HEAD UNDERGROUND MINING OPERATIONS

We are looking for an experienced Underground Mining Operations Leader to manage highly mechanized underground mining operations with complete responsibility for safety, production, statutory compliance, cost control and operational excellence.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

- 15+ years of Underground Mining Operations experience

- Highly Mechanized Underground Metal Mining experience

- First Class Managers Certificate of Competency Unrestricted (DGMS) MANDATORY

- B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering MANDATORY

- Strong DGMS compliance, mine safety & statutory experience

- Exposure to LHDs, LPDTs, Jumbo Drills & underground mining equipment

- Experience in production, development, drilling & blasting, ventilation, dewatering & backfilling

- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary mining teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead underground mine operations and achieve production/development targets

- Drive safety, productivity and cost optimization

- Manage production scheduling, ore extraction and mine development

- Ensure DGMS, Mines Act and statutory compliance

- Oversee equipment utilization and maintenance coordination

- Manage manpower, contractors, budgets and operational resources

- Drive continuous improvement and sustainable mining practices
