Job Summary:

The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will lead the Infrastructure engineering and execution of large-scale projects, including brownfield and greenfield initiatives, and setting up new plants across various manufacturing sectors. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end project management of brownfield and greenfield projects, including design, planning, budgeting, and execution phases.

- Oversee the establishment of new manufacturing plants from concept through completion, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, safety, quality, and supply chain) to optimize project timelines, resources, and budget.

- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and cost estimates for new plant setups, housing complexes, roads, water and electricity distribution, showrooms, warehouses, workshops and garages.

- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, manage risk, and ensure project milestones are met.

- Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.

- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report progress to senior management.

- Work closely with external vendors, architects, contractors, and suppliers to source raw materials equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery and project execution

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Civil Engineering

- 15 -20 years of experience in project engineering and management, specifically in the manufacturing industry (Paints, Plastics, FMCG, Agrochemicals, power generation and distribution etc.).

- Strong technical knowledge of project management methodologies, engineering standards, and industry regulations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.

Preferred Skills:

- PMP or relevant project management certification.

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

- Excellent in English and conversational knowledge of French language is required
