Project Director - Hotels/Hospitality

Role Overview:

Lead end-to-end delivery of hospitality projects from design to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage project planning, budgeting, timelines, quality, and construction execution.

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, hotel operators, and other stakeholders.

- Oversee design, MEP, FF&E/OS&E, procurement, and technical compliance with hotel brand standards.

- Drive cost control, vendor management, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.

- Ensure successful pre-opening readiness, commissioning, and operational handover.

- Represent ownership interests on-site and provide strong leadership across project teams.

- Promote sustainability, energy efficiency, and best construction practices.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical); Master's in Project Management or Construction Management preferred.

- 15-20 years of experience in project execution, hospitality design and technical services, and construction management.

- Proven track record of delivering multiple Upscale and Upper Upscale hotels across India, with leading global and/or domestic hotel brands.

- Prior experience in delivering five-star hotels, resorts, or lifestyle projects as well as experience in greenfield hotel developments, with a minimum of 3 to 4 projects handled end-to-end is essential.

- Deep understanding of hotel brand design guidelines, development protocols, and operational handover requirements.

- Candidates based in Bangalore will be preferred.

Key Skills:

- Strong expertise in project planning, cost control, design management, design coordination with architects and all consultants, and construction management.

- Deep knowledge of hotel development, technical standards, FF&E/OS&E, MEP systems, and sustainability codes.

- Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-stakeholder environments with complex interfacing brands, owners, consultants, and contractors.

- Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

- High attention to detail, solution-oriented mindset, and strong commercial acumen.

- Hands-on site leadership capability with the ability to represent ownership interests throughout the construction lifecycle.
