Project Cost Controller - Construction/Engineering

Role Overview:

The role of Senior Manager - Cost Controller is to strengthen cost governance for new projects, refurbishment projects, renovation works, and other CAPEX-led initiatives. This role encompasses techno-commercial project cost control with strong finance acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Controls, project schedules adherence, change management reports, punch list management.

- Ensuring that project CAPEX is estimated correctly, approved with proper assumptions, tracked during execution, and closed with full commercial discipline.

- Reports execution for Scope, time, cost and quality.

- Understanding project budgets, BOQs, vendor claims, construction or fit-out cost structures, change controls, accruals, provisions, and financial closure.

- Tracking of master plan of each project along with Site Managers and Suppliers, follow defined process and strategies and upraise site team as well to avoid deviations. Ensure to get the times established from planning to closing.

- Coordination with External agencies, Contractors for labour management, Daily progress, timely deliveries, statutory compliances.

- Understanding of project lifecycle from budget approval to financial closure. Tracking daily activities, progress, problems, plans and updating teammates for their intervention.

- Coordinating and preparing trackers for Design, Procurement and Site activates following up on day to day basis.

Experience Requirements:

- 10 - 15 years of experience in construction/project management

- Exposure to project planning, cost control, and site coordination

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects

- Strong communication and reporting skills

- Ability to collaborate, influence, and drive outcomes across teams
