Project Accounting Lead - Project Finance - EPC/Infrastructure

Project Accounting Lead:

Location: Nashik

Reporting To: Head - Commercial Finance & Operations

Role Purpose:

Manage project accounting, billing, collections, cost control, and profitability tracking for irrigation projects. Partner with project managers and business teams to ensure strong financial governance, working capital management, and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor project profitability, costs, margins, and cash flows.

- Track actuals against project budgets and forecasts.

- Ensure timely billing, revenue recognition, and milestone tracking.

- Review project-wise receivables, retention money, and collections.

- Analyse cost overruns and drive corrective actions.

- Support project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews.

- Ensure compliance with project accounting policies and controls.

- Prepare project MIS covering revenue, margins, costs, collections, and cash flow.

Experience:

- 8 - 12 years of experience in Project Finance, Project Accounting, Commercial Finance.

- Experience in Irrigation, EPC, Infrastructure, Engineering, Construction, or Capital Goods industries preferred.

- Strong exposure to project costing, billing, collections, and profitability analysis.

Preferred Qualification:

- CA / CMA with relevant experience
