Its work spans infectious and non-communicable diseases, digital health, environmental health and other public health priorities, with teams operating across national, state, district and sub-district levels.

- Government Coordination: Support the Ministry and State in executing programme activities, achieving district-level objectives, and providing regular updates on progress, challenges and implementation status.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Map health and environmental indicators, conduct field-level data collection and validation, analyse findings, and identify potential lead exposure hotspots.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with government officials, medical institutions and relevant partners, and support awareness and sensitisation on lead poisoning and lead elimination.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across Health, Food, Environment, ESIC, Labour, Mines and Minerals, and other relevant departments.
