Role: Program Manager Salary Accounts
Qualification:
MBA - Marketing & Finance (preferred); Minimum Graduate
Relevant Industry Experience:
10-15 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in the BFSI sector, preferably in corporate salary and liability sales acquisition for large banks.
Objective of the Role:
The Program Manager will lead and manage the Salary Account Programme, driving customer acquisition, cross-selling initiatives, and program differentiation. This includes collaborating with corporate partners, payroll providers, fintech players, and internal teams across Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, and Compliance.
Post-launch, the Program Manager will ensure smooth operations, address service issues, and boost customer adoption through targeted campaigns. The role also entails P&L ownership for the salary programme, including float income, cross-sell of investments and insurance, and fostering long-term customer engagementmaking it a strategic position to contribute to growth in retail liabilities.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
Programme Management & Partnerships
- Identify and onboard corporates, payroll aggregators, and ecosystem partners to scale the salary programme and account acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong corporate relationships to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
- Serve as the primary liaison between corporate HR/payroll teams, partners, and internal teams.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teamsTechnology, Product, Operations, Business, and Complianceto ensure smooth onboarding journeys, including digital and API integrations.
- Ensure SLA adherence and seamless servicing of corporate salary clients.
- Work with operations and internal teams to quickly resolve customer or corporate-level issues.
Business Growth & Campaigns
- Achieve business KPIs including corporate tie-ups, customer acquisition, activation ratios, and account balances.
- Design and execute engagement campaigns such as corporate desk days, employee offers, and referral programs.
- Support cross-sell initiatives for investments, lending, insurance, and prepaid products.
- Provide data-driven insights and dashboards to management for continuous improvement.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to RBI and regulatory guidelines for salary accounts.
- Integrate regulatory and policy changes into operational processes in coordination with Compliance and Risk teams.
- Maintain accurate MIS and ensure transparent reporting to management and partners.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement, and corporate sales in BFSI.
- Strong understanding of salary account operations, payroll processes, and liability products.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
