
About the Role:
We are looking for a Program Manager who can bring structure, visibility, and operational efficiency to our client's interior design projects. This role is the backbone of our project operations-ensuring accurate data, seamless coordination between teams, strong process discipline, and clear insights for the founders to track project performance, profitability, risks, and timelines.
What You Will Own:
1. Project Operations Tracking & Governance:
- Build and maintain a unified project tracking system for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure every project has accurate data on budgets, timelines, procurement status, vendor progress, changes/variations, profitability, and risks.
- Drive weekly project governance rhythms with design, procurement, site execution, and finance teams.
2. Dashboards & Reporting:
- Build and own all dashboards (Excel/Google Sheets/Notion/Power BI/Tableau) to track end-to-end metrics: Project progress, delays, dependencies, profitability, procurement status, inventory, resource allocation.
- Create clear, high-quality weekly/monthly founder reports highlighting performance, red flags, and recommendations.
3. Efficiency, Productivity & Profitability:
- Analyse project-level data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Recommend process improvements related to design handovers, procurement cycles, vendor coordination, installation sequencing, billing, and handover.
- Track cost leakages, overruns, and ensure projects are executed within budget.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Be the single point of integration across teams (design, procurement, contractors, finance, after-sales).
- Ensure consistent communication, information flow, and timely closure of dependencies.
- Maintain strong documentation and version control for project assets.
5. Process & SOP Development:
- Build SOPs for project operations, quality checks, client communication, and handovers.
- Drive compliance and ensure teams adopt structured processes.
What You Bring:
- 1-4 years of experience in program management/business operations preferably from any ops heavy businesses, including but not limited to interior design, e-commerce, or any execution-heavy environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work deeply with data.
- Experience building dashboards, trackers, and reporting systems from scratch.
- Hands-on experience improving processes and driving operational efficiency.
- High ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to work in ambiguity.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and follow-through.
