Program Manager - Operations
Hiring Criteria:
1. 4 to 6 years of experience in Program Management, Business Operations, Category Management, or P&L Ownership roles
2. Education:
- Minimum Engineering degree (Tier-1 preferred)
- OR MBA from Tier-1 or Tier-2 institutes
3. Preferred industries are E-commerce or quick-commerce
4. Experience owning P&L for a Business Vertical, Strategic Planning of routes including profitability, cost optimization, and financial planning
5. Candidate should have proven ability to build programs from 0 to 1 (Scratch to End)
6. Track record of process improvement, operational optimization, and ROI maximization for teams or verticals
7. Experience in execution and daily operations management
8. Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Supply, Marketing, Product, and Finance (collaboration with multiple internal teams)
9. Ability to Lead Pilots, run experiments, drive growth initiatives, and scale successful strategies
10. Candidate should have capability to independently lead an entire business vertical.
Will report to AVP - Demand and this role closely collaborates with multiple internal teams (the responsibilities mention in the jd are currently handled in a distributed way by other PMs and APMs in the company hence required very close inter dept. coordination )

What you will do:
Business P&L Ownership:
- Oversee the P&L of a business vertical, ensuring profitability, cost efficiency, and overall financial performance.
Team ROI Maximization:
- Drive productivity and performance across on-ground and cross-functional teams to improve ROI.
Execution & Operations Management:
- Ensure smooth execution of daily operations for the assigned vertical, resolving blockers and managing performance metrics.
Data-Driven Insights:
- Analyze business performance, customer behavior, and market trends to derive actionable insights and guide strategic decisions.
Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in current workflows and implement scalable, efficient solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, supply, marketing, and product to align on business goals and seamless execution.
Pilot & Growth Initiatives:
- Lead experimentation, pilot projects, and new business initiatives; track outcomes and recommend next steps for scaling.
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and business updates for leadership to support decision-making.
What we are looking for:
- 4-6 years of experience in program management, business operations, category management, or P&L ownership roles within e-commerce or quick-commerce companies.
- Engineering or MBA from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Proven track record of improving processes, optimizing operations, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Ability to work across teams, manage ambiguity, and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership mindset with an execution-first approach.
