Program Manager - Middle Mile Logistics - SCM & Operations

About the Role:

We are looking for a Program Manager - Middle Mile to manage and improve transportation and distribution operations from warehouses to stores. The role will focus on route planning, replenishment, delivery performance, transportation costs, reverse logistics, and network expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and optimise warehouse-to-store routes, delivery schedules, and replenishment cycles.

- Monitor TAT, on-time dispatch, on-time delivery, and overall operational performance.

- Manage transporters and optimise vehicle utilisation, trip costs, and fill rates.

- Drive cost optimisation across transportation and logistics operations.

- Manage reverse logistics, inventory movement, and logistics assets.

- Develop SOPs, dashboards, and processes to improve operational efficiency.

- Support new store/network launches, including route planning and first-mile/middle-mile setup.

- Conduct operational analysis and implement process improvements based on data.

- Coordinate with warehouse, store operations, category teams, and external logistics partners.

Requirements:

- 3 - 6 years of experience in middle-mile, transportation, warehouse operations, supply chain, or logistics.

- Hands-on experience in route planning and transporter management.

- Strong program and stakeholder management skills.

- Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or Generative AI exposure is a plus.

- Understanding of logistics documentation and compliance.

- Experience with WMS/TMS or route optimisation tools is an advantage.

- Pharma, cold-chain, quick commerce, e-commerce, or 3PL experience is preferred.

- Willingness to work closely with warehouse and on-ground operations teams.
