Program Manager
About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled and strategic Program Manager to lead and execute complex, cross-functional initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in program management, with a strong background in technology and a proven ability to drive large-scale projects from concept to completion.
- Oversee the entire program lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define program scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute program strategies that align with business goals.
- This includes identifying risks and opportunities, creating contingency plans, and adapting the program as needed to meet evolving business requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the central point of contact, coordinating with various teams, including product development, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment across all departments.
Stakeholder Management:
- Effectively manage expectations and communication with all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Provide regular updates on program status, milestones, and potential issues.
Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage program resources, including budget, personnel, and time, to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Risk Management:
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks and issues.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to ensure project success.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and report on program performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize program outcomes.
Team Development:
- Mentor and lead project managers and team members within the program.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience: 5-8 years of progressive experience in program management, project management, or a related leadership role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and program management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Experience with software development lifecycles is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and influence without authority.
Business Acumen:
- Demonstrated ability to understand business drivers and translate them into effective program strategies.
- Experience in financial modeling and budget management is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification
