Role Overview:

- We are looking for experienced Program Leads to manage the execution and delivery of technology workstreams within a large enterprise application development and modernization program.

- The Program Lead will be responsible for coordinating Scrum teams, managing delivery plans, tracking commitments, dependencies, risks and issues, and ensuring effective communication across engineering teams and stakeholders.

- The ideal candidate should have experience managing technical programs and software development teams within Agile environments. While deep hands-on coding expertise is not mandatory, candidates must have sufficient technical understanding to engage effectively with engineers, architects, product owners, QA teams, and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end delivery for assigned technology workstreams.

- Coordinate one or more Scrum / Agile delivery teams.

- Work with product owners, engineering leads, architects, QA, and business stakeholders to drive delivery.

- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

- Track sprint commitments, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.

- Ensure blockers and dependencies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

- Maintain clear program plans and delivery trackers.

- Monitor delivery metrics including velocity, capacity, sprint completion, defects, and release readiness.

- Drive disciplined execution against agreed timelines and commitments.

- Coordinate across multiple technical teams where deliverables have cross-team dependencies.

- Facilitate technical and business stakeholder discussions to support decision-making.

- Prepare regular status updates for leadership and customer stakeholders.

- Maintain RAID logs and ensure risks and issues have clear owners and mitigation plans.

- Manage change requests and assess their impact on scope, timelines, and capacity.

- Coordinate application releases and production-readiness activities.

- Support resource and capacity planning across delivery teams.

- Drive continuous improvement in Agile and delivery processes.

- Escalate material delivery risks and decisions requiring leadership intervention.

Required Skills:

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong experience managing software development or technology delivery programs.

- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Experience independently running Scrum teams.

- Strong project and program management fundamentals.

- Experience managing plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.

- Experience working with engineering, architecture, product, QA, and business teams.

- Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into delivery implications.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with delivery tracking and Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

- Strong written documentation and executive reporting capability.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience managing enterprise application development programs.

- Exposure to Java / full stack application development environments.

- Application modernization or transformation experience.

- Experience managing distributed or offshore delivery teams.

- Experience coordinating multiple Scrum teams.

- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps delivery practices.

- Understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Scrum Master, PMP, SAFe, or Agile certification.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 9+ years of overall experience in technology delivery, program management, project management, or related roles.

- Demonstrated experience independently managing technical programs or Scrum teams.

- Experience working within enterprise-scale technology environments.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Management, or related discipline preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.

- Ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
