The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and leading the agri commodities business, driving profitability, and ensuring sustainable growth. This is a leadership role that involves end-to-end business ownership - from strategy and operations to P&L accountability and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Setup & Development:

Establish the agri commodities business from the ground up, including strategy formulation, market entry, and operational setup.

P&L Ownership:

Manage the centre's profit and loss, ensuring revenue growth, cost optimization, and overall profitability.

Sales & Marketing Management:

Drive sales initiatives across domestic and international markets; identify and develop new business opportunities and customer segments.

Procurement & Supply Chain:

Oversee procurement, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Strategic Partnerships:

Build and nurture strategic alliances with suppliers, buyers, and trade partners for business expansion and market penetration.

Operations Management:

Ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementation of best practices.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team to achieve business targets and organizational goals.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and policy changes to develop responsive business strategies.

Expansion & Growth:

Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies for domestic and international business growth.

Qualification & Experience:

- Graduate or MBA with minimum 15+ years of experience in the agri commodities sector with at least 5 years in a business leadership role.

- Proven track record of handling P&L responsibilities and driving business expansion in both domestic and export markets.

- Strong exposure to sales, procurement, operations, and supply chain management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
