Production Planning Manager

Description: We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Manager to lead end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and capacity management for a manufacturing setup. The role will be responsible for ensuring optimal utilization of resources, timely production, inventory control, and alignment between sales forecasts and manufacturing execution. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, cross-functional coordination experience, and exposure to modern planning tools and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute short-term and long-term production plans based on sales forecasts, order requirements, and capacity constraints

- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines

- Coordinate closely with sales, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production flow

- Monitor capacity utilization, machine loading, and manpower planning to improve productivity

- Track and control WIP, finished goods inventory, and raw material availability

- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance planning efficiency

- Ensure adherence to OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery metrics and production KPIs

- Use ERP/MRP systems to drive data-driven planning and reporting

- Support new product launches, ramp-ups, and demand fluctuations

- Prepare MIS reports and present insights to senior management
