Production Manager - Refractory Manufacturing

1. Role Overview:

- We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Process Manager to oversee Refractory Plant processes, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of crushing & grinding circuits, material handling systems, batching, mixing, and bagging operations.

- The role involves optimizing Production processes, ensuring equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement in process parameters.

2. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end process management of Refractory production from raw material preparation to final bagging, focused on Crushing & Grinding circuit.

- Manage and optimize crushing and grinding circuits (Jaw Crushers, Vertical Shaft Grinders, Raymond Mills, High-Efficiency Screening Units etc.).

- Supervise bulk material handling systems including bucket elevators, belt conveyors, and dust control equipment.

- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of material batching & dosing systems.

- Oversee pneumatic conveying systems to ensure safe, efficient, and dust-free material transfer.

- Monitor performance of high-capacity mixers for homogeneity and consistency in refractory mix designs.

- Implement and sustain bagging & packing Automation for efficient Product handling and delivery.

- Drive process optimization initiatives to reduce energy consumption, increase throughput, and minimize wastage.

3. Key Skills & Competencies:

- Expertise in Crushing, Grinding, batching, mixing, and bagging systems.

- Familiarity with Pneumatic conveying and dust collection systems.

- Analytical skills with focus on process improvement & cost optimization.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

4. Key Skills & Competencies:

- Any Mechanical /Electrical/ Process Engineering (or related discipline).

- Min 5+ years of experience in Refractory or related heavy process industry.

- Proven track record in Process optimization and equipment management.

- Exposure to Automation, process digitization etc. preferred.

5. Problem Solving & Complexity:

- This position requires elaborate people interaction, high level of patience and perseverance and strong emphasis on rigorous process discipline and adherence to statutory compliances.
