Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Production Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production planning, quality compliance, cost control, and timely delivery. The role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills, and hands-on experience in managing shop-floor operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and control production activities to meet output, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Manage day-to-day shop-floor operations and ensure optimal utilization of manpower and machines.
- Develop and implement production schedules in line with demand forecasts.
- Monitor production performance and initiate corrective actions to resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality norms, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).
- Prepare and present MIS reports on production efficiency and KPIs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process control, and quality systems.
- Experience in handling teams and shop-floor workforce.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
