Production Head - FMCG

As Production Head, you will be the strategic and operational leader driving production excellence, cost efficiency, and product quality across the Companys facilities. You will oversee planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver premium organic products for both domestic and international markets.

This role is critical in optimizing operational performance, ensuring compliance with stringent global standards, and supporting the companys expansion goals. You will face opportunities to streamline operations, integrate lean practices, and scale production capacity, all while maintaining the highest benchmarks of sustainability and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end production planning and execution to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

- Align production with sales forecasts, procurement, and inventory requirements to ensure supply chain efficiency.

- Champion quality control, ensuring all output meets global export standards while minimizing defects (e.g., broken rice).

- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance of machinery to reduce downtime and maximize throughput.

- Lead and mentor production teams, including 50+ supervisors, operators, and maintenance staff, to build capability and performance.

- Implement cost control initiatives by reducing energy usage, fuel consumption, and labor costs while sustaining quality.

- Embed lean manufacturing practices and a culture of continuous improvement.

- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, FIFO practices, and minimal wastage.

- Enforce stringent safety, hygiene, and food safety protocols to meet international standards.

Critical Success Factors

- Achieve 95%+ on-time production target adherence across facilities within 6 months.

- Reduce operational downtime by 20% through preventive maintenance and process optimization.

- Achieve 5%+ cost savings in production budgets without compromising quality in the first year.
