Role Overview:

The Production Head - Electrical manages a team of Production Delivery Heads (PDHs) to ensure efficient mechanical production delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, timely delivery, and operational excellence. This role focuses on resource utilization, cross-functional collaboration, driving revenue targets, and maintaining strategic client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Massive Scale Operations: Direct, optimize, and manage a large-scale workforce of 500+ resources to ensure seamless delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

- Workload Balancing & Revenue: Strategically allocate manpower, design comprehensive ramp-up/ramp-down resource plans, and resolve capacity constraints to maximize billable efficiency and productivity. Oversee overall revenue achievement, track weekly staff efficiency, and ensure timely invoicing and collection.

- Project Management: Lead strategic Mega Projects, oversee PDH planning (minimum 4-week look-ahead), resolve escalations, and define efficient execution strategies.

- Resource & Growth: Balance team workloads, manage bench/redeployment, and collaborate with Growth Verticals to align resource planning with business pipelines.

- Client & Quality Management: Maintain strong rapport with key clients, conduct internal QC audits, enforce compliance with local/international mechanical/HVAC/Plumbing codes, and implement SOPs.

- Tech & Training: Promote the use of PIVDC, BPMS, and AI/tech tools (e.g., ChatGPT); analyze 2-month training needs and conduct monthly technical workshops.

- Large Team Governance: Proven capability in leading massive operations (500+ personnel) through structured delegation, hierarchy management, and conflict resolution.

Skills & Expertise:

- Technical Competencies: LV/MV Power Distribution design and BIM coordination, Lighting Design interior, exterior, emergency, and controls, ELV Systems structured cabling, fire alarm, BMS, security, AV, Power Load Calculations and single-line diagram (SLD) interpretation, Earthing, Lightning Protection systems, Data Centre Electrical Infrastructure critical path power, UPS, generator, PDU coordination, Local and international electrical codes IEC, NEC, BS 7671, NFPA 70, and regional authority standards.

- Software Knowledge: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360.

- Risk & Change Management: Exceptional capability in identifying engineering/project risks, formulating mitigation plans, and managing scope change control.

- Leadership: Team building, cross-functional coordination, and client sentiment analysis.

Eligibility:

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

- Required: Proven leadership experience in managing delivery teams (PDHs) and handling high-value/Mega engineering projects.

- Required: Analytical mindset for performance reviews, excellent client engagement skills, and a commitment to strict SOP compliance.

- Language: English & Tamil Language proficiency is a must.
