Production Development Merchandiser - Fabric/Apparel

About the Role:

Seeking a dynamic Product Development Merchandiser to manage fabric sourcing, apparel development, and vendor coordination from concept to final sample. The role bridges design, sourcing, and production to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality product execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end product development and sampling.

- Collaborate with design teams on fabric, color, and material choices.

- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per requirements.

- Liaise with mills and vendors for timely sample delivery.

- Manage costing, T&A tracking, and buyer communications.

- Ensure quality, compliance, and smooth handover to production.

Requirements

- Degree in Textile, Apparel, or Fashion Merchandising.

- 3 to 7 yearsof experience in fabric/apparel product development.

- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and sourcing.
