About the Role:

We're a leading private sector bank, looking for an experienced Technical/Product Trainer to drive product capability building across the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing and delivering product training programs within the Banking industry. Candidates with experience across both Banking and Insurance will also be considered.

The role involves developing and delivering engaging product training programs, enhancing employee knowledge, and driving the adoption of banking products, systems, and processes across business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deliver product and technical training programs for employees across various business functions.

- Conduct classroom, virtual, and hands-on training sessions on banking products, systems, and operational processes.

- Develop training content, presentations, learning modules, user guides, and assessment materials.

- Partner with Product, Business, Operations, and Technology teams to understand new product launches and translate them into effective learning programs.

- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and learning metrics.

- Continuously update training content in line with product enhancements, regulatory changes, and business requirements.

- Support capability-building initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 8-10 years of overall experience in Learning & Development, Product Training, or Technical Training.

- Mandatory experience delivering Product Training within the Banking industry. Candidates with experience across both Banking and Insurance are also eligible.

- Strong understanding of banking products, banking operations, and financial services.

- Experience in instructional design and developing training content.

- Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively engage diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Retail Banking, Digital Banking, Liability Products, Asset Products, or Banking Operations.

- Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.

- Relevant certifications in Learning & Development or Training will be an added advantage.
