
Role: Product Specialist (IT Software Sales)
Location: Bangalore
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling software solutions, a deep understanding of the IT software market, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role focuses on promoting and selling IT software products, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for IT software products.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate software solutions.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Product Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT software products, trends, and technologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical and commercial insights to clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation and delivery.
Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and prepare sales reports and forecasts.
Collaboration:
- Work with the marketing team on promotional materials and campaigns.
- Coordinate with operations and support to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in IT software sales.
- Strong understanding of software products, SaaS, and enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new software products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
