Job Title: Product Sales Manager - Wholesale Banking (Trade & Finance)

Locations: Bangalore & Chennai

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Wholesale Banking - Trade & Finance vertical. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in trade finance products, strong relationship management skills, and a proven ability to acquire and grow corporate and SME clients.

This role requires close collaboration with Relationship Managers (RMs), Credit, Operations, and Risk teams to deliver customized trade & finance solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Development & Revenue Growth

- Drive sales of Trade & Finance products including:

- Letter of Credit (LC)

- Bank Guarantees (BG)

- Import & Export Finance

- Working Capital Finance

- Bill Discounting / Invoice Financing

Supply Chain Finance:

- Achieve revenue, fee income, and asset targets for the assigned geography.

- Identify new-to-bank (NTB) corporate and SME opportunities.

- Cross-sell treasury, cash management, and other wholesale banking products.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, exporters, importers, and SMEs.

- Understand client business cycles and provide structured trade finance solutions.

- Conduct regular client meetings and portfolio reviews.

Product & Market Expertise:

- Stay updated on trade regulations, RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, and international trade practices.

- Monitor competitor offerings and market trends.

- Provide market feedback to product and strategy teams.

Internal Coordination:

- Work closely with Credit, Risk, Legal, and Operations teams for deal structuring and smooth execution.

- Ensure proper documentation and compliance adherence.

- Maintain high service standards and quick TAT for client servicing.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 2+ years of experience as Product Sales Manager in Wholesale Banking / Trade Finance.

- Strong knowledge of trade & finance products and structured transactions.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

- Experience handling corporate / mid-market / SME clients.

- Good understanding of credit assessment and financial analysis.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Educational Qualifications:

- Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Business.

- MBA (Finance / Marketing) preferred.
