Job Title: Product Sales Manager - Transaction Banking

Reporting To: Head Transaction Banking

Role Description:

The Product Sales Manager (PSM) - Transaction Banking is responsible for driving revenue growth, client penetration, and product adoption across transaction banking solutions including cash management, payments & collections, trade finance, escrow management and supply chain finance to corporate and institutional clients.

The role requires close collaboration with Relationship Managers (RMs), Product Teams, Operations, Technology, and Compliance to originate, structure, and execute transaction banking mandates while ensuring superior client experience and transaction banking growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for business development and revenue growth for (NTB) new-to-bank and (ETB) existing client penetration of transaction banking products across assigned client segments.

- Identify revenue opportunities through fee income, float balances, CASA growth, NFI income and cross-sell to the various client segments.

- Support RMs in client acquisition, wallet share enhancement, and current account balance build-up.

- Actively originate non-lending mandates such as cash management, payments, escrow and trade services.

- Participate in client meetings, pitches alongside RMs as a transaction banking subject-matter expert.

- Identify client needs and propose tailored transaction banking solutions to clients across various industries.

- Build, maintain, and monitor a robust transaction banking pipeline with clear milestones and deliverables.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of pipeline data, reflecting a strong understanding of client requirements.

- Track deal progress and ensure smooth onboarding and go-live for clients.

- Proactively identify and resolve execution bottlenecks to avoid delays and client dissatisfaction.

- Prepare and review MIS reports on pipeline, revenue, balances and product penetration.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of transaction banking products including: Cash Management, Trade Finance, Escrow and Supply Chain Finance

- Ability to structure end-to-end transaction banking solutions.

- Strong client-facing and communication skills.

- High level of ownership, execution focus, and accountability.

- Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.

Experience:

- 5 -12 years of relevant experience in Transaction Banking / Cash Management / Trade Services.

- Experience in a client-facing role is preferred.
