Product Owner

Responsibilities:

- The day to day activities of this PM would be to work with the Initiative owners to understand the tasks, understand the requirements clearly, document them and to identify the related Seller Risk domains that will have an impact and work with the corresponding engineering teams to help them understand the requirements, estimate the effort and also drive execution as per the expected timelines. Also to provide regular updates to critical stakeholders on the progress, blockers for this program if any.

- Adherence to policies, standards, and frameworks (e.g. SDLC, Change Management, Risk& Security)

- Solid, reliable judgement and can make effective risk-value decisions under ambiguous and/or difficult circumstances

- Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of change, in parallel to promoting an open and inclusive environment

- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc).

- Guiding the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers

- Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.

- Ensure that the team is adhering to the Scrum methodology and foster best practices in the team

- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.

- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.

- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

Requirements:

- 6 - 8 years of experience required

- B.TECH / B.E / MBA Preferable

- Anyone who has no prior PM experience should not be considered
