Product Manager - US Healthcare - HIPPA/HL7/ANSI/X12

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product, this role will direct a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Employees matched to this job have responsibility for overall product(s) and people management.

Roles & Responsibilities -

To be qualified for this position you:

- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Development/Management or Healthcare Operations such as healthcare finance or administration sector working with providers, health plans, clearinghouse or other organizations

- You have a basic understanding of healthcare transactions; particularly EDI and X12

- You have experience creating and roadmaps as well as leading a team to meet deliverables

- You have experience managing customer expectations

- You have worked in and are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, coordinating across multiple disciplines

- You possess technical acumen, the ability to describe and gather technical requirements and get feedback from technical staff

- You have knowledge of modern technology architectures, database technology, virtualization, and the impact of government initiatives and HIPAA privacy and security regulations on system design

- Should work experience within the healthcare finance and administration sector, working with providers, health plans, clearinghouses or other organizations including comprehensive understanding of healthcare EDI transactions

- You are knowledgeable of Agile processes

- Strong understanding of ANSI and Clearinghouse transactions
