About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and growth of a UK-focused Workpaper Software solution designed for tax and accounting professionals. The role involves defining product strategy, managing the roadmap, and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations while delivering a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with UK market expansion
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis within the UK tax ecosystem
- Translate UK tax compliance requirements into product specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to prioritize and deliver features
- Manage sprint planning and agile product delivery cycles
- Monitor product KPIs and user feedback for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and HMRC standards
- Drive integration with accounting platforms and bookkeeping tools
- Act as product representative for internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of UK tax laws including individual, corporate, and partnership tax
- Experience in tax or accounting software platforms
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into software features
- Experience working in Agile product environments
- Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
- Exposure to platforms such as Xero UK, Intuit, Thomson Reuters, or Wolters Kluwer is a plus
- Strong business and compliance mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- ACCA, CA, or MBA preferred
- Minimum 4 years of relevant product or domain experience
